PPKM Level 3 Canceled, Zulkifli Hasan: Level 2 Is More Than Enough

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the MPR RI Zulkifli Hasan assessed that the level of implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) during the Christmas and New Year 2022 (nataru) holidays should not be too high, just level 2.

Therefore, he has no problem with the government canceling the PPKM level 3 policy during the Naru period.

"We should be level 1, but since Nataru is level 2, that's more than enough," said Zulkifli Hasan at the DPR Building, Thursday, December 9.

According to him, the most important thing right now is equal distribution of vaccinations. If everyone has been vaccinated, said Zulhas, immunity will increase and the spread of new cases can be well suppressed.

The General Chairperson of PAN appealed to the public not to hesitate to get vaccinated. Because, said Zulhas, vaccination will speed up the recovery of the situation and people can carry out normal activities.

"So the key is vaccines, so if all of them have been vaccinated, hopefully because the immune system will increase and it can be overcome. So that's the key to vaccines," he said.

In addition, Zulhas added, the public must continue to limit activities in public spaces with strict health protocols.

"And do not travel far during the nataru holiday," he said.
