JAKARTA - The National Police said that not all former KPK employees who accepted were recruited as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Bhayangkara Corps. There are 8 people who refuse recruitment as ASN Polri.

"There are 8 people who are not willing to (become ASN Polri)," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, in his statement, Monday, December 6.

Of the 8 people, one of them is Rasamala Aritonang. The reason for refusing to become a National Police ASN is because he has become a teacher at a university.

Ramadhan said there were also those who had not made a decision. Thus, the Police gave them time to make choices.

"Waiting for confirmation there are 4 people and given a deadline until tomorrow morning," said Ramadhan.

So, in total there are 12 people who refuse and have not made a decision. Meanwhile, 44 people accepted to join the Police.

"There were 44 people who filled out the agreement and stated they were willing to become ASN Polri," said Ramadhan.

Meanwhile, the remaining one, namely Nanang. He is said to have died last month.

Previously, the National Police invited 57 former KPK employees to socialize the Police Regulation regarding the special appointment of 57 former KPK employees as Polri ASN.

"Monday (next week) we (Polri) will first conduct socialization to the 56 former KPK employees," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi, when confirmed in Jakarta, Saturday, December 4.

This invitation follows the issuance of Perpol Number 15 of 2021 concerning the Special Appointment of 57 former KPK employees to become ASN Polri

The Perpol is a legal umbrella for the National Police to appoint 57 former KPK employees to become ASN Polri specifically.

According to Dedi, socialization is a stage that is carried out after the Perpol is issued and before the former KPK employee is sworn in as a National Police ASN.

Later, former KPK employees will occupy positions in accordance with a letter of approval from the Ministry of Administrative Reform Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpanrb).

Furthermore, the National Police together with the State Personnel Agency (BKN) compiled an employee identification number (NIP) for the former KPK employee.

"For placement, it is adjusted according to competence and then with BKN to issue the NIP," said Dedi.
