Latest Survey, Satisfaction With President Jokowi's Performance Increases

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Political Indicators survey institute released the results of the latest survey related to the performance of the president. The survey findings noted that the level of public satisfaction with the performance of President Joko Widodo has increased in the last 2 to three months. A total of 72 respondents were satisfied and quite satisfied with Jokowi's work.

"The total performance of the president is around 72 percent who are very satisfied or quite satisfied with the performance of President Jokowi," said Executive Director of Indonesian Political Indicators Burhanuddin Muhtadi in the presentation of the survey results, Sunday, December 5. According to him, this increase is surprising because in July 2021, Jokowi recorded the lowest level of performance satisfaction in the last six years. At that time, said Burhanuddin, Jokowi's satisfaction level was only 59 percent. "This means that there is an increase of up to 13 percent in November. This approval rating is now the highest increase during the pandemic in the last 2 years," he said.

This survey was conducted face-to-face which was held from November 2 to 6, 2021, involving 2020 people. The survey used a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of 2.9 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.
