The Criminal Investigation Unit, led by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Allan Budikusumah, conducted an investigation at the crime scene and found the whereabouts of the perpetrators in Jorong Jambak, District IV Koto, Agam Regency.

"At around 04.30 WIB in the morning, the perpetrator D was immediately taken to the Bukittinggi Police, along with the perpetrator's wife was secured at the Bukittinggi Police for questioning for further proceedings," he said.
