“Thank you to Citilink, the Ministry of Transportation, and the Central Java Provincial Government for supporting the re-activation of Ngloram Airport, which last operated during the Suharto era, around the 1970s. And finally, in 2021 Ngloram Airport can be reactivated," said the regent.
According to him, this airport does not only belong to Blora, but is a gift from the central government to several districts in the border area of Central Java and East Java.
"This is air transportation access for the region. Hopefully it can be a lever for economic growth in the Blora, Rembang, Grobogan, Ngawi, Bojonegoro and Tuban areas. Grobogan Regent Sri Sumarni welcomed the inaugural flight of commercial aircraft at Ngloram Airport. He hopes that the opening of the airport can have a positive impact on Grobogan Regency.
