JAKARTA - The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, has returned to carry out his duties as a foreman for the construction of the Borobudur area. In fact, Ganjar did this while it was raining to check a number of places in Magelang.

Ganjar went to Magelang to take part in a series of Borobudur Marathon 2021 events. After releasing the elite races to compete, Ganjar then rode around Magelang to check out a number of national strategic project development projects there.

Ganjar goes around observing the construction of a number of projects. These include the Welcome to Kembanglimus gate, the Blondo Welcome Gate and several other projects. Ganjar also checked the development of tourist villages, including Bumdes Banjarnegoro and small SMEs in Japunan.

"Today I am in Magelang, around the Borobudur Temple area. Now at 06.00 WIB, after releasing the Borobudur Marathon participants I went around to see several buildings that became national strategic projects. Alhamdulillah, the work has started to show results," said Ganjar.

In a number of locations, physical buildings began to stand. In addition, community readiness has also begun to be seen, both in tourist villages and SMEs.

"On the left and right, there have been buildings being built. Hopefully, it will be a complement for us to see the beauty of Borobudur later. I see everything will be finished soon," he added.

Ganjar did ask the Coordinating Minister for Investment and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, for permission at the beginning of the construction of the Borobudur area. Ganjar asked to be the foreman of the national strategic project.

Some time ago Ganjar had been around to check the development of the Borobudur area. Today, Ganjar again checked the progress of the construction directly.

"As a foreman, I have to see the developments that are here. And I will still see others," he concluded.

Meanwhile, the MSME actor visited by Ganjar, Pandu, 46, said he was happy that Ganjar had come to directly monitor the development of the arrangement of the Borobudur area. He also did not expect Ganjar to come to his place of work.

"Praise God, I didn't expect him to be willing to come to my place. Come directly to provide support to us. I feel very happy," he said.

Pandu, who makes salted egg crackers, said his industry was well received by the community. Since two years ago, making crackers from salted eggs, the sales turnover continues to grow.

"The turnover is sufficient to meet needs, to pay employees. Hopefully in the future it will be even better," he concluded.

The Borobudur Temple area has indeed been arranged in such a way. The area has become one of the various leading tourist destinations prepared by the central government to become the new Bali in Indonesia. A number of developments and arrangements to realize this have been started several years ago.
