JAKARTA - The Mataram City Tourism Office, West Nusa Tenggara Province, has prepared a number of festival agendas to welcome and succeed the international MotoGP event which will take place on March 20, 2022 at the Mandalika Pertamina Circuit. Head of Mataram City Tourism Office (Dispar) Nizar Denny Cahyadi in Mataram, Friday said , several festivals that will be held to welcome MotoGP include the "Peresean" Festival, the Mataram Mandalika Fair Festival and the Pearl Exhibition Festival. It is said, from the experience of the Mataram Mandalika Fair Festival and the Pearl Exhibition Festival during WSBK, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are very enthusiastic and MSMEs get the economic impact. "Alhamdulillah, the activities during WSBK have many enthusiasts and all the booths that we have apply filled. Even for the pearl exhibition, the transaction value reaches around Rp. 150-200 million," said Denny.

With this MotoGP activity, it is hoped that it can boost the community's economy more optimally. Including for other educators such as cukli craftsmen. "We will see how large MSMEs will be accommodated again during MotoGP.
