There Is No Special Directive To The DKI MUI To Form A Cyber Team, So Far Anies Has Always Been Wise In Responding To Buzzer Criticism

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, emphasized that DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan had never asked DKI MUI for anything regarding the formation of a cyber team to defend him from buzzers.

Riza also invited the DKI MUI to form a cyber team to dispel the hoax news that attacked Anies and ulama figures in Jakarta.

"There is no specific directive, we respect all of them. Forming a cyber army in all organizations and communities is the right of each", said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, November 22.

Moreover, according to Riza, Anies never took any statements from the buzzer that ridiculed or criticized him seriously.

"Mr. Governor, as we know, responding to any criticism suggestions (from buzzers) is wise, we all understand", said Riza.

According to him, Anies understands that the Indonesian state adheres to a democratic state. In the name, everyone has the right to express their aspirations, including in cyberspace.

It's just that, Riza asked, criticism and suggestions submitted must be by the facts and not just talk. So, it doesn't make a fuss.

"There are pros and cons to all, we are used to it in this reform era. We respect all opinions, it is important that we maintain unity and unity above all interests", explained Riza.

As previously reported, the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) through the Information and Communications Sector held a Coordination Meeting for the Information and Communications Sector throughout DKI Jakarta.

One of the decisions of the coordination meeting was to conduct a massive defense of the Governor of DKI Anies Baswedan when he was attacked by a hoax by a buzzer.

At that time, the General Chair of the DKI Jakarta MUI, KH Munahar Muchtar Munahar, also hoped that Information and Communications Sector and the DKI MUI extended family would be able to defend and assist the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Rasyid Baswedan, who has worked hard for the people of the capital.

If the buzzers look for Anies' mistakes, the Information and Communications Sector is asked to immediately play the narrative of Anies' success, both nationally and internationally.

"He is one of the 21 heroes of the world. For the news, I asked the DKI MUI to appoint it because we are partners with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government", said Munahar.

After much discussion, Munahar emphasized that the cyber team he formed would only help Anies. Other Jakarta clerics deemed to be performing well and then being attacked by buzzers will also be defended.

"Is it for Mr. Anies only? No. If there is a Jakarta figure, he acts for the citizens of Jakarta, then the benefit is good for the citizens of Jakarta, MUI is ready to support and support and cooperate", said Munahar.
