4 Signs Lovelyz Will Dissolve Forever
JAKARTA - Seven years of career, Lovelyz finally disbanded, Lovelyz made their debut as Woollim's first girl group in 2014 with Candy Jelly Love. Their last comeback and release was Obliviate in September 2020.
With the song Obliviate, Lovelyz won the first win on a South Korean music show. Besides group activities, Lovelyz members are active in solo careers, including Mijoo with variety shows and Kei with musicals.
Monday, November 1st, Woolim Entertainment made an announcement not to renew the contracts of 7 of the 8 members of Lovelyz. The hashtag #ThankYouLovelyz immediately became a trending topic on social media and music streaming services. Here are 4 signs Lovelyz will disband forever.
1. Sindiran A Year of VakumLovelyz last released an album in September 2020 with the seventh mini album entitled Unforgettable. A year without activity, Jin had time to quip the agency, Woolim Entertainment through his Instagram account.

2. Ji Soo's Vlog Not Aired Lovelyz's fans are furious with the agency's actions on their idol group activities. This stems from the story of one of the members, Seo Ji Soo through a V Live broadcast on Tuesday, October 12.
Seo Ji Soo reported that he had just finished recording for a vlog but he didn't know when the agency would upload this video.
“So I recorded a vlog, but there were very few people working in the editing department so I don't know when it was uploaded. Maybe later when you forget I mentioned it," said Ji Soo.

4. Baby Soul stays at Woollim Entertainment Baby Soul decides to stay at Woollim Entertainment agency. "From Lovelyz members, Baby Soul has renewed his contract with the confidence he has built with us for a long time," said the agency.
"As Baby Soul supporters for a long time, we will not hold back from giving our full support for this new step and the active promotion of Baby Soul."
With the separation of members and agencies, Lovelyz officially disbanded this November. Monday, November 1, the Woollim Entertainment agency announced the group's disbandment via social media.
"Our contracts with Lovelyz members will expire on November 16, 2021. After a long discussion, the seven Lovelyz members (Yoo Jiae, Seo Jisoo, Lee Mijoo, Kei, Jin, Ryu Sujeong, Jung Yein) chose to start something new elsewhere, Woollim said, launching Soompi.
