Absent For 3 Months Due To Cardiac Arrhythmia, Aguero Writes A Message To Fans: Thank You For Your Messages Of Love And Support
JAKARTA - Barcelona confirmed that Sergio Aguero will be out for at least three months. The player who is familiarly called Kun was diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia.
Aguero felt chest pain in the La Liga match between Barcelona and Alaves and eventually left the pitch.
Tests after the game revealed the Argentine forward had a cardiac arrhythmia. He was then transferred to the hospital for a cardiology examination on Saturday.
"Barcelona player Kun Aguero has undergone a diagnostic and therapeutic process by Dr. Josep Brugada," Barcelona said in a statement.
"He will not play for the next three months, the effectiveness of the treatment will be evaluated to determine his recovery process."

Aguero also took to social media to thank Barcelona fans for their messages following the incident.
"I'm fine and in good spirits to face the recovery process," said Aguero.
"I want to thank all of you for the messages of love and support that have made my heart stronger today."
Several teammates and teammates shared their support for Aguero, such as Manchester City defender Laporte, Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea and Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.
