Cases Are Sloping, Accumulation Of Healing Of COVID-19 Patients In Bangka 9,405 People

BABEL - The COVID-19 Task Force for Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, recorded that 9,405 people recovered from COVID-19 to date (Accumulative).

Spokesman for the Bangka COVID-19 Task Force Boy Yandra said the 9,405 COVID-19 patients who recovered were approximately 99.80 percent of the total 9,793 cases.

"Based on the data, thousands of COVID-19 patients who were declared cured each came from the Sungailiat Subdistrict, there were 3,763 patients, Riau Silip Subdistrict 485 people, Puding Besar 301 people," he said in Sungailiat, Bangka Regency, Saturday, October 30, as reported by Antara.

Then from Pemali District there were 1,786 people, Merawang recorded 884 people, Mendo Barat 705 people, Belinyu reached 1,328 people and in Bakam District 153 patients recovered.

Boy Yandra said the number of recovered COVID-19 patients will certainly continue to increase because there are still dozens of active cases who are still undergoing the health recovery process.

"The recovery rate for COVID-19 patients is quite significant and proves that the distribution of corona virus cases in Bangka Regency is starting to be safe, even in a number of sub-districts where daily cases are not found," he said.

He asked the public not to be careless and to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols even though the COVID-19 case had been sloping and to immediately get vaccine services for residents who had not been injected with the vaccine.

According to him, to date the total number of COVID-19 patients in Bangka Regency has reached 9,703 cases, 9,405 patients have been declared cured and 360 patients have died.

Meanwhile, the realization of the first dose of vaccination coverage has reached 56.43 percent or 143.982 residents of the total target population of 255,161 residents, and the second dose of 37.68 percent or 96,146 residents of the same target population.

"I urge people who have not been vaccinated to immediately register at the nearest vaccination service outlet because the Bangka Regency government targets the vaccine target by the end of 2021 to be realized by 70 percent," he said.
