JAKARTA - PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA) recorded an encouraging performance in the third quarter of 2021. The company owned by conglomerate TP Rachmat achieved revenue growth in the first nine months of this year.
ASSA's revenue reached Rp3.5 trillion in the third quarter of 2021, or grew by 61.6 percent compared to the same period in 2020. Meanwhile, net profit was recorded at Rp.69.4 billion or grew by 233.5 percent compared to the same period in 2017. previously.
ASSA's Director of Finance, Hindra Tanujaya, said that until the third quarter, the company was able to score above 50 percent performance, where revenue and profit could still grow.
"For this reason, the company is optimistic that this achievement will continue until the end of the year. Initially, we targeted ASSA's revenue to grow by 25-30 percent this year," said Hindra in a written statement, quoted Saturday, October 30.
He added that revenue and profit growth was driven by Anteraja's express delivery business line and other business pillars, namely the rental business and vehicle auctions. It was recorded that until the third quarter of 2021, Anteraja managed to grow 269.8 percent, the rental business grew 4.2 percent, while the vehicle auction business grew by 3.4 percent compared to the same period in 2020.
Furthermore, Prodjo Sunarjanto, President Director of ASSA added that apart from Anteraja, ASSA also continues to encourage the performance of other business pillars. Where it was recorded that until September 2021, ASSA was able to sell around 31,000 cars through auction, as well as around 44,000 motorcycles.
Meanwhile, the rental business is still consistently growing with the number of fleets recorded at 26,658 units as of the third quarter of 2021, or an increase of 1,524 units from the same period in the previous year.
"The growth of ASSA's rental business is also in line with the company's increasing demand for operational vehicles, while the growth of the auction business is driven by hybrid auction activities developed by JBA since the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.
