Wanting To Be Maximum At Proofing The Case of Bribery In Saling And Purchasing Of Positions, KPK Extends Detention Period Of Probolinggo Regent Et Al
JAKARTA - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have extended the detention period of the inactive Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari and her husband, Hasan Aminuddin, for 30 days.
The extension of this detention was carried out to maximize the search for evidence related to the alleged bribery of buying and selling positions within the Probolinggo Regency Government.
"In order to maximize the collection of evidence, the investigative team has extended the detention period for the suspect PTS et al," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Ali Fikri told reporters, Saturday, October 30.
In addition to Puput and Hasan, the KPK has also extended the detention period of three other suspects, namely the Head of the Krejengan District, Doddy Kurniawan, the Head of Karangren Village Sumarto, and the Head of the Paiton Sub-district, Muhamad Ridwan. This 30-day extension of the detention period will be carried out until November 28 according to the first decision from the Surabaya Corruption Court.
Puput was detained at the KPK Prison in the Red and White Building while her husband, Hasan Aminuddin, was detained at the KPK Detention Center in Lot C1.
Meanwhile, other suspects, namely Doddy Kurniawan, are being held at the Central Jakarta Metro Police Prison, Muhamad Ridwan is being held at the South Jakarta Metro Police Prison, and Sumarto is being held at the KPK Detention Center at the Jaya Guntur Military Police of Military Area Command (Pomdam).
Previously reported, the KPK has named 22 people as suspects in the bribery case of buying and selling positions at the Probolinggo Regency Government, East Java. They consist of 4 bribe recipients and 18 bribe givers.

The bribes given by State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Probolinggo Regency Government are carried out so that they can serve as village head officials. Each person is required to pay IDR 20 million and the village land tribute of IDR 5 million per hectare.
The four recipients were Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari, House of Representatives (DPR) member Hasan Aminuddin, Krejengan sub-district head Doddy Kurniawan, and Paiton sub-district head Muhamad Ridwan.
While the 18 donors were Sumarto, Ali Wafa, Mawardi, Mashudi, Maliha, Mohammad Bambang, Masruhen, Abdul Wafi, Kho'im, Akhmad Saifullah, Jaelani, Uhar, Nurul Hadi, Nuruh Huda, Hasan, Sahir, Sugito, and Syamsuddin.
