Police: Yodi Prabowo Suicide Case, When There Is A New Novum The Investigation Can Be Opened Again
JAKARTA - The police claim that the conclusion of the motive for suicide in the case of the death of Metro TV editor Yodi Prabowo is in accordance with the facts of the investigation which refer to the evidence and testimony of expert witnesses.
"The facts found, all of which can be concluded, are strongly suspected or strongly suspected of committing suicide," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Wednesday, July 29.
The statement was expressed to answer all doubts, either from the family or the community about Yodi's death. This is because the suspicion of Yodi's death has grown wild in the community, starting from the murder victim to the presence of a third person.
However, Yusri said, there was still an opportunity when there were parties who wanted to provide additional evidence or information regarding the case.
"If there are new facts or new novum that can be presented, go ahead. But we have already said, this is the basis of our investigation until the end," he explained.
In fact, when there is new evidence in the case of Yodi's death, it is possible that the investigation process will be opened again.
"It does not mean that one case has stopped completely, if there is a new Novum, any new novum can be reopened," said Yusri.
Yodi was found dead on Friday, July 10 on the side of the JORR Toll Road, Ulujami, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta. Yodi was found dead after 3 days without news.
From the results of the examination, Yodi died from stab wounds to his chest and neck. In addition, based on the results of the forensic laboratory examination of the knives found in the vicinity of the incident, there were only fingerprints and DNA from Yodi.
