Indonesia's U-23 National Team Loses Again To Australia, Tickets To The 2022 Asian Cup Floating

JAKARTA - Indonesia lost to Australia 1-0 in the second leg of the 2022 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification Group G in Tajikistan, Friday. This means that the Garuda Muda squad will fail to advance to the U-23 Asian Cup next year.

Australia immediately pressed the Garuda Muda defense since the first minute. They control the ball from the side of the field.

Indonesia then turned to hold the ball and tried to build an attack from below.

Garuda Muda threatened through Witan Sulaeman through a direct kick from the middle of the field. However, it's still off the mark.

At minute 8 Asnawi Mangkualam violated Jacob Italiano. The referee awarded Australia's first free kick.

The crisis occurred in front of the Garuda Muda goal. Australia also scored a goal through Patrick Wood in the 9th minute. Australia one ball ahead.

Indonesian goalkeeper Ernando Ari performed well in the first 45 minutes by making at least three important saves.

Australia led 1-0 until the game entered halftime.

In the second half, Indonesia immediately took the initiative to attack. Unfortunately, Ramai Rumakiek was caught offside.
