Closing The 'Luxury' Working Meeting In Jogja, Firli Bahuri: This Is Not Just A Routine Work Evaluation But Also Discusses Efficiency

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri said the three-day working meeting since Wednesday, October 27, not only discussed the routine evaluation of the institution's performance but also discussed efficiency and effectiveness.

This was conveyed by Firli Bahuri when closing the 2021 KPK Working Meeting which took place at the Sheraton Mustika Hotel, Yogyakarta.

"The performance evaluation carried out is not just a routine performance evaluation, but discusses the efficiency and effectiveness of the institution as a whole," said Firli in a written statement, Friday, October 29.

The former Deputy for Enforcement at the KPK also advised structural officials in the anti-corruption commission to uphold the commitments made at the working meeting so that the resulting plans and programs could focus on the goal of eradicating corruption.

Moreover, the discussion of the KPK roadmap 2022-2045 has been carried out because this is important because Indonesia is predicted to become the world's five largest economic powers. "Therefore, the KPK must prepare early to face the challenge," said Firli.

He also advised that every KPK employee be an agent of change. "Now all of you have become ASNs and let's build civilization with this new status," he said while again reminding KPK ASNs to have three roles, namely as implementing government policies, public servants, and also being the glue and unifier of the nation.

Not only that, he also hopes that the employees will be more solid and focused. Moreover, during the three days of the work meeting, there were team building activities held indoors and shared cycling activities.

"From cycling activities, we learn that we have to pedal the bicycle in order to move forward according to our goals. We also need speed control and self-control, so that the journey can be smooth to the destination," said Firli.

"This is the same as the dynamics in the organization, in achieving the goals there are many obstacles and obstacles but we must focus on our goals and have a solid strategy, commitment and team," he concluded.
