No CCTV Is An Obstacle For Police To Reveal Molotov Terrorists At PDIP Headquarters
JAKARTA - The traces of the terrorist throwing 3 molotovs at the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) headquarters, Cileungsi, Bogor, are still unclear. The police encountered problems identifying the perpetrators because there were no surveillance cameras (CCTV) at the scene.
"There is no CCTV at the location, the house is still in renovation condition," said Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Saptono Erlangga to VOI, Wednesday, July 29.
The investigation on the terror of throwing Molotov was carried out by examining two witnesses who were construction workers. Three Molotov were also investigated which were used as evidence to identify the perpetrator's fingerprints.
"Everything is still under investigation," said Erlangga.
The house belonging to a PDIP Mu'ad Kalim cadre which was used as the secretariat of the PDIP Cileungsi Branch (PAC) was thrown three molotovs at around 01.30 WIB.
Terror also occurred at the house of the Deputy Chairperson of the Bogor Regency PDIP DPC, Rosenfield Panjaitan in Megamendung. Three Molotovs were thrown at the house which was used as the secretariat of PAC Megamendung on Tuesday, July 28.
PDIP has also criticized this terror. The police were asked to fully investigate the perpetrators of the Molotov throwing.
"PDI Perjuangan strongly condemns the throwing of Molotov cocktails at the PAC PDI Perjuangan secretariat in Megamendung and Cileungsi Subdistricts, Bogor Regency," said the Chairperson of the DPP PDIP Janar, Ono Surono.
PDIP instructed all cadres of Bogor Regency to put forward the legal process in uncovering this case. Cadres are asked not to be provoked by this terror.
