50 Army Soldiers Exercise In Singapore, General Andika: Important Exercise, But Friendship Is More Important
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Andika Perkasa, dispatched 50 Indonesian Army soldiers to take part in the 33rd joint training entitled 'Safkar Indopura' with the Singaporean army.
In his briefing on the ground floor of Building E, Jakarta Headquarters, last Thursday, October 28, General Andika ordered the soldiers assigned to carry out the exercises with enthusiasm. Especially also able to establish good communication with the Singapore army.
"Practice is the main thing, but making friendships is more important", said the Chief, according to a written statement from Dispenad.
The Indonesian Army soldiers who participated in the training came from Infantry Battalion 310/Kidang Kencana Brigif 15/Kujang Kodam III/Slw.
They will carry out joint training with Singaporean soldiers from Battalion 5 (5th Singapore Infantry Regiment) at Kranji Camp III and Muray Urban Training Facility, Singapore Army, until mid-November.

Previously, the Indonesian Army had just completed a combat exercise with US troops. The exercise is called the 15th Garuda Shield in 2021.
For information, this is the largest exercise in the history of military cooperation between Indonesia and the United States, which was held from early to mid-August. It was conducted in three different places, namely Kodiklat Combat Training Center in Baturaja, Amborawang Training Area in Balikpapan, and Makalisung in Manado.
The materials include staff exercise, field training exercise (FTX), live-fire exercise (LFX), aviation, and medical exercise (Medex). In addition, two training programs will be combined, namely joint combined exchange training (JCET) and Garuda Airborne.
