The Bali Health Office Once Found A Health Facility Pegged A PCR Price Of IDR 1 Million But Only Was Reprimanded
DENPASAR - Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, Ketut Suarjaya, confirmed that the PCR test rate of IDR 275,000 has been applied to the Island of the Gods.
The implementation of the new PCR price has made a Circular (SE) from the Head of the Bali COVID-19 Task Force which is adjusted to the Directorate General of Health Services (Directorate General of Health) of the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes).
"We are following up in the area for all labs to follow the PCR tariff rules for a maximum of IDR 275,000 and in the shortest possible time, no later than 1 x 24 hours," said Suarjaya in Denpasar, Bali, Friday, October 29.
He emphasized that health facilities should not fix the price of the applied tariff.
"There should be no trick later that it will be faster and more expensive. Nothing like that. 1x24 hours must come out (results)," he added.
"If you are naughty, you will be reprimanded, if you are still naughty, you will close," he said.
Suarjaya admitted that there were several health facilities that set the price of a PCR test above Rp. 1 million. At that time, health facilities were reprimanded.
"We monitor that there are some, we have reprimanded them and have apologized. There are more than Rp. 1 million. But when the tariff of Rp. 495 thousand was reprimanded, he apologized in writing and promised not to do it again," said Suarjaya.
"But we continue to monitor and ask for help if anything is found, it will be immediately informed to us and according to the direction of the Director General of Health and Safety, if it is stubborn, it will be closed," said Suarjaya.
