The Act Of Breast Robbery In Duren Sawit, The Perpetrator Was Arrested At His Home 3 Hours After Being Reported

JAKARTA - Members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Duren Sawit Police have apprehended a young man who committed breast robbery in the Duren Sawit residential area, East Jakarta. The perpetrator was arrested at his home in the same area, Duren Sawit.

The arrest of the perpetrator with the initials AI was carried out after the police received a report from the victim and saw evidence of CCTV footage showing the perpetrator's act of slapping her breasts.

From the victim's confession to the police, the perpetrator pretended to ask for directions. When the victim was careless, the perpetrator squeezed the victim's breast.

The perpetrator also faced resistance from the victim. However, because he was riding a motorbike, the perpetrator immediately ran off on the gas.

When confirmed, Duren Sawit Police Chief, Kompol Suyud, said his party made the arrests after receiving information from residents about immoral crimes.

"Finally, we processed the crime scene and got pictures and CCTV evidence. Finally, we processed it with IT experts. Not long after, we immediately arrested the AI perpetrators within 3 hours", he told reporters, Friday, October 29.

The perpetrator was arrested at his home. He was picked up directly by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Duren Sawit Police. For further processing, AI was brought to the Duren Sawit Police Headquarters for a BAP (police investigation report).

"It's still under investigation. The perpetrator is still at the BAP, whether he has a disease or what, so we will investigate later", he said.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, the police also confiscated some evidence from CCTV footage of the incident, the perpetrator's motorbike, helmet, shirt, pants, and shoes that the perpetrator was wearing when the incident occurred. While the case is still under investigation.
