Komut Pertamina Ahok Believes Papua Is Progressing Thanks To Easy Access To Oil And LPG Services
JAKARTA - The President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or BTP, made a working visit to several points that are downstream of PT Pertamina's oil and gas in Papua, to monitor and oversee the performance of the company PT Pertamina in eastern Indonesia.
Basuki Tjahaja Purnama used a week-long working visit to Papua to inspect one of Pertamina's assets in Sorong, namely the Sorong Fuel Terminal and the Aircraft Filling Depot at Domine Esok Airport, Sorong.
During his visit to Sorong, BTP had the opportunity to greet the workers. He encourages employees to always uphold integrity, and give their best in their work.
Basuki Tjahaja Purnama also visited the DPPU of Domine Eduard Osok Airport, Sorong. During the visit, he discussed with the ranks of the Papua-Maluku Regional Commercial and Trading Subholding.
BTP in the discussion said that Pertamina was given a mandate by the Government to be able to distribute oil and LPG to the community in a proportional, fair and equitable manner, as a form of fulfilling oil and gas needs, especially in eastern Indonesia.
He also advised Pertamina to continue to innovate by increasing the opening of product distribution channels such as General Fuel (SPBU), Pertashop, and LPG agencies. In the process, BTP also emphasized that Pertamina should level the playing field and transparency for anyone interested in becoming Pertamina's partner. Considering that the Papua-Maluku Region faces geographical challenges in Papua region in distributing products to meet the needs of the community.
He believes that Papua will progress further with easy access to LPG Oil and Gas services. We must continue to innovate for the execution of the One Village One Outlet (OVOO) program.

Yoyok said that to reach Pertamina's BBM customers and facilitate the distribution of BBM, Pertashop was developed with a 2022 target of 221 Pertashop outlets, 129 Pertashop outlets have been operating, and 106 Pertashop outlets are in process.
"The total operational plan is 235 Pertashop outlets, for the development of Pertashop in the Papua region to reach 76 percent so that it is targeted that in the future fuel services will be more optimal", he said.
