Targeting NasDem To Be In The Top Three, Surya Paloh: 2024 Momentum Can't Just Be Ordinary Work

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP Nasdem Party Surya Paloh targets his party to be in the top three in the contestation in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

"If God is pleased with our common struggle, support, militancy, and sincerity, then this party is in the top three compositions," Surya said in his opening remarks for the National Workhsop for Members of the Nasdem Faction of Provincial, Regency and City DPRDs throughout Indonesia in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Thursday, October 28.

Surya emphasized that as the Nasdem Party captain, he was determined to make this struggle a reality. Surya explained that the momentum in 2024 is an important basis for making Nasdem able to exist for the next century.

"The momentum in 2024 cannot be separated from just ordinary work," he said.

Surya emphasized that the Nasdem cadres and DPRD members are the spearheads and "marketing" experts from the Nasdem Party.

"If someone asks what we are all about, the answer is 'sales marketing' of the Nasdem Party. If it's not us, then don't rely on survey results," said Surya.

Surya reminded that as a 'marketing' expert, don't belittle yourself, let alone disturb, ridicule or insult other parties.

"Party A is good, party B is also good, but the Nasdem Party is a little better," said Surya jokingly.

With a good party strategy, Surya believes that he will get optimal results
