Megawati Says She Doesn't Want To Fire Cadres And If She Doesn't Like PDIP She Is Asked To Resign, Who's Insinuating?

JAKARTA - PDIP Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri has invited cadres who no longer feel at home in their party to resign. He said he would not fire cadres who no longer want to carry out their party's duties.

"Who is responsible for the party's rules, the general chairman, me. So if you are not loyal or don't want to carry out the party's duties, then don't be a party person," Megawati said when giving directions at the inauguration of the Bung Karno Park MSME Inscription and 16 Party Offices , Thursday, October 28.

"Nowadays I often say, if they don't like PDIP anymore, please resign. Instead of me getting tired of being fired, just resign, it's over, that's your right," he continued.

He then mentioned the question of party cadres who did not accept being fired and then sued. In fact, said Mega, the party rules had been agreed upon in the congress which was also attended by the cadres concerned.

"Now it's a little bit if those who have been fired and then sued. I like to laugh, I already know why there are rules that aren't implemented. It wasn't me, you know, it was a party congress attended by all of you. to me as the elected general chairman. So don't turn it around," explained Megawati.

"So if you're not happy, please resign immediately, it's easier that way. Because to this day if there is a lawsuit, we win. Not I won, but the party won. Because I obeyed the AD/ART, I didn't play arbitrarily," he continued.

Megawati emphasized that she wanted the PDIP to always be solid. Where can not be divided because the cadres obey the rules of the party.

"We already know from the legal side in this republic. The party is a political organization. We who are members of the party must, now this must, three times, obey the binding party rules. Through what, through AD ART," he said. "If that's all I don't know, I often ask a lot of questions which I think, why ask, when in fact there are AD/ARTs that have clearly stated what to do, how and so on. Read it!," added Megawati.
