Gede Pasek Resigns From Secretary General Of The Hanura Party
JAKARTA - Politician Gede Pasek Suardika has publicly announced his resignation from the position of Secretary General of the Hanura Party DPP.
In a written letter that he uploaded on his personal Facebook account, Thursday, October 28, Gede Pasek did not clearly state the reason for his resignation.
Gede Pasek said that he needed a new place of service to realize his political ideas and ideas to the fullest.
"Because politics is how to carry out political ideas and ideas to the fullest, so that if that doesn't work, then new fields of service are needed, and on the other hand, other opportunities need to be given to fill the vacant positions," said Gede Pasek in an open letter quoted by Antara. .
His official resignation letter has been submitted to the General Chairperson of the Hanura Party DPP Oesman Sapta Odang.
"This official letter is a continuation of my verbal delivery to the general chairman at the previous time," explained Gede Pasek.
In the letter, Gede apologized to all parties while carrying out his party duties as secretary general.
“Hopefully, organizational separation does not mean separating friendship in humanity. I pray that the Hanura Party will continue to develop and progress, being handled by other cadres who I see have a lot of potential and quality," he said.
Gede Pasek did not explain further about the contents of the open letter when contacted. The Hanura Party DPP, including the general chairman of the Hanura Party, could not be reached for comment.
Gede Pasek Suardika was previously confirmed as Secretary General of the Hanura Party DPP at the Hanura Party National Conference in Jakarta on January 24, 2020.
