Commemoration Of The Youth Oath And Ganjar Pranowo Anniversary, Volunteers Cut Tumpeng And Hold A Cultural Carnival At Dwarawati Temple Dieng

JAKARTA - The celebration of the 93rd Anniversary of the Youth Pledge and the 53rd Anniversary of Ganjar Pranowo, on October 28, became a special moment for Friends of Ganjar Volunteers to strengthen their intention to lead Ganjar Pranowo to become the leader of the Indonesian nation in 2024.

Launching from the Sahabatganjar.com website, Friends of Ganjar Volunteers held a Youth Pledge celebration as well as Ganjar's Anniversary with the community around Dwarawati Dieng Temple, Central Java to commemorate Youth Pledge Day.

There were two agendas held at the memorial location, namely the Youth Oath Ceremony & Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer and the Traditional Game Competition at the Suharto Whitlam Court, Thursday, October 28.

The Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer was coordinated by KH. Khayatul Makki, caregiver of Tanbihul Ghofiliin Alif'Baa Islamic Boarding School, Banjarnegara. In the joint prayer event represented by religious leaders from 6 religions and beliefs in Indonesia.

After that, it was continued to cut the cone which was previously paraded in a procession of cone and produce as a form of gratitude as well as celebrating the 53rd anniversary of Ganjar Pranowo. The carnival procession moves from the village below the temple court to the top of the Dwarawati temple court.

A group of village youths carrying the red and white flag were in the front row, followed by the Dieng Dreadlocks group, then after that a row of village courtiers who carried the cone and produce. Everyone marched to the location of the Youth Oath Day commemoration ceremony.

Furthermore, a traditional game competition was held in the Suharto Whitlam Court. The competitions included a stilts competition, a coconut shell clog competition, and a sack race which was participated by children in the Dieng area, Central Java. Friends of Ganjar hope that the community will not forget the original Indonesian game so that it will not be lost in an increasingly modern era.

"We have carried out the Youth Oath Ceremony procession and also the cutting of the cone as a form of thanksgiving for Mr. Ganjar whose birthday today. We also hold traditional games competitions for local children, especially in the Dieng area. The children looked very happy when the competition started,” said Sahabat Ganjar's Public Relations Officer, Indah CH.

In particular, A. Jaka Saptana as Chairman of the DPP Sahabat Ganjar gave a statement in the activities carried out today.

"Today we all commemorate the Youth Pledge as a form of appreciation for the youth in uniting the spirit of nationalism to fight against the invaders in front of this Motherland. We also celebrate the birthday of Mr. Ganjar Pranowo by cutting the cone," said A. Jaka Saptana.

This event is claimed to be carried out by adhering to the health protocols set by the government, such as maintaining distance and wearing masks in this activity.
