Residents Affected By The Bogor-Sukabumi Double Track Project Happy To Get New Housing From The Bogor City Government

BOGOR - Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto ensured that the arrangement of the relocation area for residents affected by the Bogor-Sukabumi double track development project in early 2021, in Bojongkerta, South Bogor District, will soon be completed.

This was conveyed by Bima while reviewing the relocation site, Wednesday, October 27 to check the construction of Public Infrastructure, Facilities and Utilities (PSU) which is targeted for completion on December 31, 2021. In that place there are 70 families who are building new housing for the project, which is assisted by the City Government through spiritual money. The residents who were met by Bima Arya said they were happy to be able to find new and decent housing. “Even though it's small, the place is comfortable. I asked them that they are happy because they have their own house," Bima said in a release received, Antara, Thursday, October 28.

The Bogor City Government, Bima said, had assured the affected residents that the housing they were currently receiving was better than the previous housing on government land.

Because, with the development of urban spatial planning including transportation projects nationally, it is inevitable that the existing land will be inventoried and built.

"In the previous place, it was not an asset itself. It is targeted that the work will be completed by the end of December. I have entrusted it to the Disperumkim and the Camat to continue to monitor it," said Bima.

On the same day, Bima Arya also reviewed the construction of other infrastructure in the urban village bordering Bogor Regency, namely the Cimakaci Bridge.

"I checked the rehabilitation of the Cimakaci River bridge, it went smoothly. It's almost complete, only the bridge barrier is complete. The rehabilitation of this bridge is an answer to the floods and landslides that occurred in this area," said Bima Arya.
