JAKARTA - Jumhur Hidayat asked the panel of judges of the South Jakarta District Court (PN) to pass a fair verdict against him at the verdict reading session scheduled to take place in the Oemar Seno Adji Courtroom, South Jakarta District Court, Jakarta, Thursday, October 28.
Jumhur said the judges' decision was the last bastion of democracy guard.
"The panel of judges at the South Jakarta District Court will decide on my criminal case, Moh Jumhur Hidayat regarding resistance to the Omnibus Law (Cipta Kerja) on Thursday, October 28," said Jumhur in a written message received in Jakarta, reported by Antara.
In his message, he asked the public to pray for the panel of judges to think clearly so that they can decide cases fairly.
"Please pray for the panel of judges to be given clarity of thought and cleanliness of heart so that they can decide/convict the case as fairly as possible," said Jumhur.
On the same occasion, Jumhur vowed to devote his time and energy to Indonesia.

Jumhur's legal adviser asked the judge to release the labor activist, because he was not proven to spread false news and cause trouble as alleged by the prosecutor.
