Confessed Wrong For Barcelona Losing To Rayo Vallecano, Busquest: I Fell Asleep

JAKARTA - Sergio Busquets was responsible for Barcelona's defeat to Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday night.

The captain of the Catalan team doesn't shy away from mistakes, instead he puts himself in front to take all the criticism.

"I fell asleep," Busquets admitted as quoted by MARCA, discussing Radamel Falcao's goal.

"Then they counterattacked and executed very well. It was my fault."

Rayo have enjoyed having Falcao signed earlier this season, but Busquets has praised all the lines of the opposing team.

"It's a tough place to play and we have to start from the back," Busquets said. "I made a mistake and we accept the consequences.

"We had chances in the second half, and penalties. We were lacking in everything: trust, concentration and not to make mistakes.

"We didn't play badly, but things add up and it's difficult when you don't score."

Following the defeat, Ronald Koeman was sacked from his position as Barca coach.
