Suddenly, BNN Performs Urine Tests On The Temanggung Regent And ASN, What's Up?
TEMANGGUNG - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Temanggung Regency, Central Java, conducted a drug test by examining the urine of Temanggung Regent M. Al Khadziq.
Urine examinations were also carried out on a number of officials as a positive example for the public to adopt a healthy lifestyle and avoid drugs.
Drug tests for the regent and a number of officials were conducted during a training for the Prevention and Eradication of Narcotics Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (P4GN) at Jambu Kluthuk Resto, Temanggung, Wednesday, October 27.
"The regent who asked himself, he also invited officials to take the same test. The goal is that all anti-drug activists are free of drugs. The results are all negative," said the head of the Temanggung BNN, AKBP Agung Prabowo, as quoted by Antara.
The sudden urine test at the training for P4GN activists in Temanggung Regency consisted of elements of regional apparatus organizations. This training is directed at increasing the number of activists for the prevention and eradication of illicit narcotics trafficking.
In this activity, the Temanggung Regent was also a resource person along with the Head of BNN, psychiatric specialists, courts, and other elements.
"The more involved in prevention, the more cases of drug abuse can be reduced," said Agung.
Temanggung Regent M. Al Khadziq said all ASN under his leadership must support and implement P4GN to make Temanggung a Drug Hazard Response District (Kotan).
Currently, the Kotan index shows that the slopes of Mount Sindoro and Sumbing are quite responsive. "The weakness is from the regulation and institutional sector," he said.
Therefore, his party is currently drafting a regional regulation on P4GN which has reached the discussion stage. In this case, his party formed a P4GN facilitation team at the district level, then it was forwarded to the sub-district and working groups at the village or sub-district level.
"This regional regulation will become the legal umbrella. Drugs are not a small issue, this is very serious because it is related to the next generation of this nation," he said.
The Temanggung Regency BNN itself already has three drug-free villages (Bersinar), namely Bengkal Village in Kranggan District, Manding Village in Temanggung District and Krajan Village in Tembarak District.
Currently processing the inauguration of two other Bersinar villages, namely Malebo Village in Kandangan District and Nampirejo Village in Temanggung District in collaboration with the National Police and the Social Service.
