There Are Those Who Want To Split The Party, PDIP: Can't Wait To Be Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates
JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P Hasto Kristiyanto said that some were trying to organize their party's internal structure and couldn't wait to be chosen as a candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
Hasto considered that the party had no ethics and wanted to bypass Megawati Soekarnoputri's authority as general chairman.
"It seems that someone wants to split the party, impatient with the presidential and vice presidential candidates," said Hasto when opening the disaster training at the PDIP DPP office, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 27.
He was surprised by such an attitude. In fact, the 2024 election stage has not yet started and the General Elections Commission (KPU) has not yet set a schedule.
Hasto even likened this situation to a football match but when the referee had not blown the whistle, a player had already kicked the ball into the net. "In the presidential and vice-presidential candidates, it seems like that. The referee, the KPU, has not yet arranged the stages of the election, uh, there are already people pushing to put it in the net," he said.
In addition, Hasto also monitors that there are parties who are trying to carry out negative campaigns and slander against PDIP. According to him, this was done to reduce the electability of his party.
Not only that, the unnamed party, according to Hasto, also attacked President Joko Widodo in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic. Also the Chairperson of the PDIP Megawati Soekarnoputri through the issue of the Chair of the Steering Committee of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
"There are various ways to downgrade just because the PDI-P's electoral votes are always the highest. In fact, it is the result, through something organizational work," said Hasto.
For this reason, PDIP disguises political actors in Indonesia to absorb the positive energy of sports for the good of the nation. He doesn't want anyone to rush or be in a hurry for the presidential candidate.
"In fact, we can discuss a lot more than just about the presidential election. Like the issue of the Indonesian people facing the possibility of disasters due to floods, landslides that often occur," he concluded.
