Sodong Village Head And His Son Named As Village Fund Corruption Suspects
PANDEGLANG - SJ (54) The Sodong Village Head (Kades) was named a suspect in the corruption of village funds worth Rp418,134,664.43. The Pandeglang Police also arrested YP (29), SJ's son who served as the Head of Financial Affairs (Kaur) or Sodong Village Operator. The father and son are suspected of corruption in the village funds for the 2019 fiscal year.
Banten Police Public Relations Head AKBP Shinto Silitonga accompanied by Pandeglang Police Chief AKBP Belny Warlansyah explained, Sodong Village, Saketi District received Village Funds from the APBN through the Kab. Pandeglang for the 2019 budget year amounting to Rp. 772,834,000, which is intended for village development. Furthermore, YP as the Head of Finance or Sodong Village Operator submitted a proposal for submitting the funds.
"Funds according to the proposal for submitting village funds for the 2019 fiscal year used or the realization of village fund submissions are only Rp. 354,413,135.57, the rest is not used according to the proposal," explained Shinto Silitonga through a release received by VOI, Wednesday, October 27.
Shinto also said that state money for village development was used for personal gain.
"The money from the corruption proceeds amounting to Rp. 418,134,664.43, the perpetrator said that it was used for purposes in the village that were not intended, and for the suspect's personal interests," added Shinto.
The mode carried out by SL by carrying out physical construction is not in accordance with its specifications, this is in accordance with the statements of building audit experts from academics.
"The suspect even diverted the use of the budget for village empowerment programs, village development and village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) capital," said Shinto.
A number of evidences were confiscated by the officers, namely, the Task Order (SPT) implementing the Village Fund proposal facility, the realization document of the implementation of the Sodong Village Government Budget TA. 2019, and budget realization reports.
The two suspects and evidence have entered the P21 stage and will be handed over to the Pandeglang District Attorney.
“The suspect is subject to Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 UURI No. 31 of 1999, concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes Jo UURI No. 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to UURI No. 31 of 1999, concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.
