The theft of Ukrainian foreign money occurred at Villa Tiana, Jalan Raya Bumbak, Kerobokan Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali, on Wednesday, October 6.
At that time the victim and her lover headed to Legian to surf or surf. In the afternoon the victim returned to the villa and was surprised the door was unlocked.

"Furthermore, the victim checked the items in his room (many were missing)," added Purwantara.
The victims' items that went missing included $1,500 bills, passports, visas, wallets, 100 euro denominations and Ukrainian dollars.
From this incident, the victim reported to the North Kuta Police until the police team conducted an investigation. From the CCTV footage, it is known that the perpetrator is also a recidivist in a laptop theft case in North Kuta.
The perpetrator was arrested in Kerobokan Kelod with evidence of cash, cellphones, tools to pry open the villa's bedroom door and evidence of interbank transfers.
"From the results of the interrogation, the perpetrator admitted that he had committed the theft. Furthermore, the perpetrator and the evidence were taken to the North Kuta Police Headquarters for legal proceedings," said Iptu Purwantara.
