The Case Of Rachel Vennya's Escape Rises To Investigation, There Are Suspects Soon

JAKARTA - The case of Rachel Vennya's escape from Wisma Atlet Pademangan, Jakarta, has been upgraded from investigation to investigation. Improvement of the status of the case to investigation based on the results of the case title.

By increasing the status of this case to investigation, the police ensure that there is an element of a criminal act. In the case of Rachel Vennya's escape, a suspect will be named.

"So we have raised it to the level of investigation, the suspicion regarding quarantine and disease outbreaks carries a threat of 1 year in prison," said Yusri.

In the future, investigators will reschedule the re-examination of Rachel Vennya. However, Yusri did not specify when the inspection schedule would be.

"Later on, our follow-up plan will prepare the administration as soon as possible to call the person concerned again for us to conduct an examination," said Yusri.

Rachel Vennya is known to have run away while undergoing quarantine at the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC) after a vacation from abroad.

Kodam Jaya as the Command of the COVID-19 Integrated Joint Task Force delegated the case of Rachel Vennya's escape to the Police.

During the investigation process, the Jaya Regional Military Command found the involvement of two members of the TNI who served in the Soekarno Hatta Airport Security Task Force, Tangerang, Banten, and the Pademanga Athlete's Wisma. They allegedly arranged for celebrity Rachel Vennya to escape quarantine after returning from overseas.
