JAKARTA - The brace scored by Thorgan Hazard led Borussia Dortmund to advance to the last 16 of the DFB Pokal Cup after beating FC Ingolstadt 2-0 in the second round match at Signal Iduna Park Stadium, Germany, Tuesday local time.
Dortmund was dominant over the second tier team, but their chances never came to fruition, including Jude Bellingham's long-range strike which hit the crossbar in the 27th minute.
The deadlock was only broken in the 72nd minute when Hazard fired home a close-range finish with Julian Brandt's cross to stun goalkeeper Fabijan Buntic.
Eden Hazard's brother then scored again less than ten minutes later, once again completing Brandt's cross to double Dortmund's lead which lasted until the end.
