Two Policemen Of Novel Baswedan Sprinkle The Ethics Court

JAKARTA - Two members of the KPK, Novel Baswedan, Rahmat Kadir Mahulette and Ronny Bugis will undergo an ethics trial. The trial was held by the Police Department of Provesi and Security (Propam).

Karo Penmas, Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Awi Setiyono, said the ethical hearing for the two of them would be held after a final decision was made by the court on the hard water sprinkling case.

"What is clear is that it is true that they run to the code of ethics. If a person has been proven to have committed a crime, of course they will run to the code of ethics," said Awi at the Police Headquarters, Tuesday, July 28.

According to him, the trial was held to determine the two of them as members of the Police. This is because in accordance with the regulations to remove members of the police, they must go through an ethical hearing.

"Because what is the process of terminating members of the police from the Indonesian state police, there are rules for the game," said Awi.

As information, the legal status of pouring hard water on KPK investigator Novel Baswedan, Rahmat Kadir Mahulette has permanent legal power. This is after there has been no appeal from both parties.

Rahmat Kadir Mahulette was sentenced to two years in prison. The judge assessed that he was legally and convincingly proven to have committed an action that resulted in serious injuries. Namely Baswedan Novel. Meanwhile, Ronny Bugis was sentenced to a judge sentenced to 1.5 years in prison.

Rahmat Kadir Mahulette and Ronny Bugis were found guilty of violating Article 353 Paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code regarding pre-planned severe maltreatment.
