Central Java Police Chief: Law Enforcement Must Be Sharp Up And Down, Don't Be Selective
SEMARANG - Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi emphasized that law enforcement must be sharp up and down.
"Law enforcement must be sharp up and down, not selective," said the Central Java Police Chief at the opening of the Criminal Investigation Technical Working Meeting in Semarang, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, October 26.
According to him, the process of investigating a case must comply with statutory regulations. Currently, the handling of cases by the police is always in the spotlight from various parties.
Therefore, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi asked investigators to really master the problems being handled. "Don't let the process of investigating defects lead to complaints from the public," he said.
The Central Java Police Chief asked investigators to carry out their duties carefully and not to injure their sense of justice.
"Investigators are not subject to orders, investigators are only subject to the law," he stressed.
In the technical working meeting, material on restorative justice and case handling in accordance with the laws and regulations will be provided.
