JAKARTA - Based on data from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) as of July 28 at 12.00 WIB, 22,563 specimens have been examined with positive confirmed cases reaching 1,748 people.

Furthermore, Central Java has 185 new cases with a total of 8,870 cases. South Sulawesi with 132 new cases and a total of 9,123 cases. West Java with 128 new cases and a total of 6,218 cases. Then, South Kalimantan has 93 new cases and a total of 5,782 cases.
The province with the most cases recovered today belongs to West Java with an increase of 627 recovered cases. Followed by East Java with an increase of 401 recovered cases, DKI Jakarta with an increase of 376 recovered cases, and Central Java with an increase of 220 recovered cases.
Then, there are 5 provinces that reported having no new cases today. The provinces are Bangka Belitung, Jambi, Southeast Sulawesi, Lampung, and East Nusa Tenggara.
In addition, the number of specimens examined reached 1,417,322. In detail, a total of 1,384,975 specimens were examined using real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 32,347 using a molecular rapid test (TCM).
