Mahfud Condolences For The Death Of Sudi Silalahi: The Deceased Was My Best Friend
JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary of the Republic of Indonesia under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Sudi Silalahi died at the RSPAD, Central Jakarta due to illness.
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD mourned the death of Sudi Silalahi. "Inna lillah wa inna ilaihi raji'un. Allah SWT has called Sudi Silalahi to His day Monday night (10/25/21). May you be husnul khatimah," said Mahfud quoted from twitter @mohmahfudmd, Tuesday, October 26.
Mahfud remembers Sudi Silalahi as a good friend. Namely since Sudi Silalahi has been active as a TNI soldier in the East Java region.
"The late (was) my (my) good friend since becoming the Commander of the Regional Military Command V in East Java, then the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Cabinet Secretary, and Minister of State Secretary. The deceased was a good friend," said Mahfud. Sudi Silalahi's body has been taken to funeral home at Jatiwarna Indah Complex, Jalan Bunga Matahari Utama, Number A11, Pondok Melati, Bekasi, West Java.

Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Sudi Silalahi was born July 13, 1949. He was Minister of State Secretary of the Republic of Indonesia from October 22, 2009 to October 20, 2014, in the era of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Previously he served as Cabinet Secretary.
Sudi graduated from the Akabri in 1972 and ended his military career with the rank of Lieutenant General. He was Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's secretary when Yudhoyono was serving as Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs under Megawati Soekarnoputri's government.
