Again, Victims Died Due To Brutal Attacks Of Cellphone Thieves In Cakung

JAKARTA - Again, there was a robbery that killed the victim. This time in the Cakung area, East Jakarta. A man with the initials SP became the victim of a mobile phone robbery when he was at the TransJakarta bus stop, Monday, October 26, early in the morning.

"While the victim was hanging out, about five perpetrators came and immediately attacked the victim with sharp weapons," said Cakung Police Chief, Kompol Satria Darma, Tuesday, October 26.

The perpetrators, still explained by Satria, blindly attacked the victim while taking the cellphone. After the victim fell helplessly, the perpetrators fled with the victim's cellphone. The victim's body was found by local residents.

The efforts of the residents to take the victim to the hospital were in vain, the victim's life did not survive because the injuries he suffered were so many as a result of being slashed by sharp weapons. SP's body was taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.

"The item that was taken was a mobile phone. The victim was tortured by a sharp weapon in the arm," he said.

For now, Satria continued, the ranks of the Cakung Police Criminal Investigation Unit are conducting an investigation to apprehend the gang of perpetrators of violent theft that killed SP.
