East Lombok Police Member Shot Killed By His Colleague
LOMBOK TIMUR - First Brigadier Khairul Tamimi alias Momon, a member of the East Lombok Police Public Relations (Lotim), NTB, was shot dead by a colleague.
Launching Antara, Monday, October 25, before the incident, the victim and other members participated in self-defense training activities for promotion at the Lotim Police Headquarters yard.
After practicing self-defense, the victim returned home. The victim's friend also called, but there was no answer because it turned out that the victim's cellphone was left at the office.
The victim's friend went to the victim's house. There the victim was found dead covered in blood.
The victim's colleague immediately reported to his superior, Lotim Police Chief AKBP Herman Suryono. The police chief and the Inafis team went directly to the victim's house.
After that, the victim was immediately taken to Bhayangkara Hospital for an autopsy.
East Lombok Police Chief AKBP Herman Suryono confirmed that one member was found dead, as a result of being shot.
"The victim died as a result of being shot by one of the police officers as well," he said.
"The perpetrator has been arrested and is currently undergoing the process of being investigated at the Lotim Police Propam Satreskrim," added the Police Chief.
