Firli Bahuri: As ASN, KPK Employees Must Play 3 Roles At Once
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri, said his employees must be able to carry out three roles at once after becoming a state civil servant (ASN) in accordance with the mandate of the KPK Law Number 19 of 2019.
He conveyed this when closing the orientation for ASN employees at the KPK in collaboration with the State Administration Agency (LAN), Monday, October 25. Besides Firli, this event was also attended by the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPANRB) Tjahjo Kumolo.
"The closing of this orientation also marks that as ASN, KPK employees must play 3 roles at once, namely as implementing policies, public services, adhesive and unifying the nation," said Firli, who once served as Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK in a written statement.
He said that when the process of changing the status of the anti-corruption commission employees had been completed before the deadline set on October 16. "The employee transfer process was completed on September 30, 2021, which was marked by the inauguration of 18 employees who took part in the National Defense and Insight Education and Training and the inauguration of 2 employees who took the follow-up National Insight Test on October 8," said Firli. Complementing Firli's statement, Tjahjo Kumolo said The inclusion of the KPK and also BUMN in the ASN scope is expected to increase the strength of public servants in dealing with various domestic problems. One of them is related to corruption, the COVID-19 pandemic, drugs, and natural disasters.
"I officially close the implementation of the orientation of ASN employees in the KPK environment, we hope that all KPK employees come together to maintain our commitments and responsibilities as ASN," said Tjahjo.
For information, this orientation activity took place from June 16 to October 24 and was attended by 1,289 employees. This program is implemented in 17 batches using a method that combines face-to-face online, face-to-face offline, and e-learning.
In this activity, there were three employees who were declared the best participants. They are Siddig Alamsyah (Program 1), Raden Roro Suryawulan (Program 2), and Chrystelina GS (Program 3).
