Attacking Residents Using Samurai, Jeneponto DPRD Members Reported To Kelara Police
JAKARTA – Members of the DPRD Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi from the PDIP party faction, were reported to the police by a resident of Bontomanai Village, Rumbia District. AH, the initials, reported TF to the Kelara Jeneponto Sector Police on suspicion of a criminal act of assault with sharp weapons.
Kelara Police Chief Iptu Bakri said his party had received a report on the incident.
"It's true, we are currently handling the case, the victim reporting it was suspected of being abused by the reported person with a samurai," Bakri said, quoted Monday, October 25.
Based on information, AH admitted that the incident he experienced occurred on Friday, October 22 night. Bakri said, TF at that time came to the victim in Bontomanai Village, while carrying a sharp weapon. And when he saw the victim, continued Bakri, TF immediately pointed the sharp weapon at the victim.
The noise that night was dispersed by local residents. AH tried to seize the samurai brought by TF, as a result, AH's hands were seriously injured.
"The motive in this case is thought to be just a misunderstanding. So in this incident the right hand of the complainant was injured by the sword," said Bakri.
Several witnesses have been questioned by the police. TF is still undergoing examination at the Kelara Jeneponto Police.
"The reported party is being examined, and for the post-mortem it is planned that the victim will take the victim to the puskesmas tomorrow," Bakri explained.
