The results of a rapid assessment by the Bangli Regency BPBD team as of Saturday, October 23, the area of the burned land reached approximately three hectares.

"According to the team's assessment in the field, the emergence of the hotspots is thought to have come from the friction of the twigs which was also triggered by the hot weather and strong winds on Friday (22/10) afternoon. After successfully extinguishing the fire in the main location, the joint team also found four new hotspots that were not far from the previous fire location. The new hotspots are located on the east side of Mount Batur's ridge.

“Seeing the new hotspots, the joint team took quick steps for extinguishing and further assessment. The fire was then successfully extinguished after going through the hard efforts of the entire team, although previously it had problems because the location point was on a steep slope, "explained Abdul Muhari.
