Airlangga Hartarto Asks Golkar Cadres To Unite To Realize Mutual Prosperity For Advanced And Prosperous Indonesia

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, admitted that his party has a clear vision of people's welfare. In his political speech at the peak of the celebration of the 57th Anniversary of the Golkar Party, Airlangga emphasized that one of the visions of the party bearing the banyan tree is to get the Indonesian people out of the middle income trap.

"We want to get out of the middle class trap with an income above 12,500 US dollars per capita by 2036," said Airlangga in his speech at the celebration of the 57th anniversary of the Golkar Party, at the Slipi DPP Office, Jakarta, Saturday, October 23.

Airlangga is determined, Golkar wants to bring Indonesia into a high-income country and become a group of seven countries that have the largest economy in the world. According to Airlangga, such a vision of national progress is what the Golkar Party aspires to.

"The vision of welfare that Golkar aspires to, one of the indicators is the higher the income of our people so that we are on a par with the developed countries of the world," said Airlangga.

The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs invited all Golkar cadres to unite in order to realize the welfare vision that the party aspires to. Golkar's vision of prosperity, said Airlangga, is in accordance with the mandate of the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

"We must be optimistic that we can achieve these goals," said Airlangga.

Furthermore, Ketum Golkar Airlangga emphasized that he would support the government until 2024. Airlangga also promised to continue what President Jokowi's government has been doing after 2024.

Airlangga assessed that Jokowi had given a strong foundation for development. In particular, the achievement of success in infrastructure development that can encourage equitable and equitable economic progress throughout Indonesia.

The chairman of the Committee for Handling COVID-19 and the National Economic Recovery (KPCPEN) said, learning from the pandemic that took place in Indonesia since last year, the vision of Indonesia's welfare must also be serious about the health aspect.

According to Ketum Golkar, Indonesia must build a public health system and facilities in the upstream sector that prioritizes prevention aspects. Especially regarding nutrition, environmental health, to healthy behavior.

"In the aspect of handling health, building health systems and facilities in the downstream sector, including domestic vaccine production," he said.

In addition, Golkar also suggested that the government should have a food, energy and water security system as the nation's fundamental needs.
