This Is The Confession Of An Ojol Driver Who Received An Order From A Basarnas Employee Before He Died At The Hands Of Robbers In Kemayoran

JAKARTA - Regarding the robbery that killed Mita Nurkhasanah (22), a Basarnas employee on Jalan Angkasa, Kemayoran Central Jakarta, Afif Bintang Prakoso (24) as an online motorcycle taxi driver (ojol) testified.

Afif said that when he received an order for a motorcycle taxi at around 02.04 WIB, he immediately rushed to the pick-up location when the application showed an order notification on behalf of Mita Nurkhasanah.

Along the way, Afif said, Mita still had time to make contact with him via short messages regarding the pick-up point that had been determined.

Arriving at the pick-up location, at a street stall to be exact, Afif was stopped by a young man who asked for help.

The young man asked himself to help his colleague who was the victim of a stabbing. When he saw the victim, the victim was in critical condition.

"When he arrived at the crime scene, the victim's condition was critical, very critical. His condition was lying there, still conscious but already very critical," Afif said when contacted by reporters, Saturday, October 23, evening.

At first, Afif did not think that the victim of the stabbing was Mitha, who was none other than a customer who ordered his online motorcycle taxi service.

"That's why I canceled the order because I thought at that time I wanted to put people's lives first rather than the order. But when I was on the road I just realized that it was my customer who was the victim when the witness said 'Strong Mit, Strong Mit'," he said.

The young man also said that at the location of the stabbing, there were two cars which he thought were online taxis parked at the location. However, neither of the two online taxis helped the victim even though, Afif, there was an online taxi driver.

Apart from the two online taxis, the situation at the location did seem deserted considering that the time of the incident was already 2 o'clock in the morning. As a result, Afif ventured to help the victim by using the motorbike he was carrying.

"Using a motorbike, mas, I stacked three, the victim was in the middle of the guy in the back. My jacket was also covered in blood yesterday. I took me to Hermina hospital," he said again.

Arriving at the hospital, Afif decided to wait in front of the hospital and a witness named Yahya accompanied the victim inside.

Afif waited until the victim's body was taken to the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) and he also admitted that he had been asked by the police to return to the crime scene (TKP).

"I waited until I was taken to the RSCM. After that, I returned to the TKP, the police were at the TKP with the witness as well," he said. After the incident, Afif still felt traumatized when he passed through the area. He said the location when it was early in the morning it tended to be very quiet from the activities of other road users.
