Get Rp50 Billion From Kemenpora, PSSI Will Use For Shin Tae-yong's Salary And This

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) finally received a grant from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) amounting to IDR 50,619,561,500. The funds will be used for the preparation of the U-19 Indonesia national team towards the 2021 U-20 World Cup. The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Zainudin Amali, said that the funds given are in accordance with the needs.

The funds are earmarked for 46 athletes, seven coaches and eight support staff. Meanwhile, the components that are facilitated are in the form of honorarium, accommodation and consumption, supplements, try out and training camp abroad, transportation, equipment / equipment for sparring training and sports science support, and health protection.

PSSI Chairman Mochamad Iriawan revealed that this large fund was actually used for the highest achievement of the national team. Understandably, the target is not playing games, namely passing the last 16 at the U-20 World Cup. So, PSSI wants to give the best.

"Whether it's the health, the nutrition, the other facilitation, including the trainer who we brought from outside, who has been involved in making gold ink for his country," said Iriawan.
