REJANG LEBONG - The Health Office (Dinkes) of Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province is preparing a vaccination service without holidays to increase vaccination achievements in the area.
Head of the Rejang Health Office, Lebong Syamsir, said that the achievement of COVID-19 vaccination in the region which was carried out since February 1 until now is around 21 percent of the target of 217,861 people.
"One of the strategies we have prepared is to require all puskesmas in Rejang Lebong Regency to open vaccination services every day or without holidays, each of these puskesmas is targeted to serve 200 people," he said in Rejang Lebong, Antara, Friday, 22 October.
Acceleration of vaccination among local residents must be carried out. Based on data released by the Bengkulu Provincial Health Office, vaccinations in Rejang Lebong have only reached 21.64 percent or are in seventh place among 10 districts/cities in Bengkulu Province.
To increase the vaccination achievement, he said, in addition to requiring 21 health centers spread over 15 sub-districts in Rejang Lebong to open services every day, including Sundays and holidays.

Another effort, his party will ask the Regent of Rejang Lebong to immediately issue a circular letter (SE) to all regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to collect data on the number of ASN and honorary workers who have not participated in the vaccination to immediately follow it.
"Recently we have taken stock of COVID-19 vaccine from the Bengkulu Provincial Health Office as much as 20,000 doses. We are targeting this stock to run out in the next five days so we can add stock to pursue the vaccination target of 217,816 people," he said.
Previously, the Rejang Lebong Regency Government had issued a circular letter (SE) for the local regent No.0712/ST COV19/RL/2021, regarding the extension of PPKM level 3 and optimizing the COVID-19 handling post at the village and sub-district level from 19 October to 8 November.
The implementation of PPKM level 3 follows the low vaccination achievement in Rejang Lebong Regency in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 54/2021, concerning PPKM level 3, level 2 and level 1 and optimizing the COVID-19 handling post at the village and sub-district levels in the Sumatra region.
