Waiting For Online Motorcycle Taxi, Basarnas Employee Killed By Robbers On Jalan Angkasa Kemayoran

JAKARTA - Mita Nurkhasanah (22) a resident of Indramayu, an employee of the National SAR Agency (Basarnas) was stabbed to death by a gang of robbers. The robbery took place not far from the Basarnas office, Jalan Angkasa, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sam Suharto, confirmed the incident. Until now, the case is still under investigation by the Kemayoran Police

Sam explained that the victim was waiting for an online motorcycle taxi on the side of the road with his girlfriend, Yahya. Suddenly 4 people came using 2 motorbikes. The two assailants got down from the motorbike, carrying sharp weapons.

The perpetrator had accused the victim and her boyfriend of hitting her sister.

"Then the perpetrator immediately slashed the victim," he said when contacted by reporters, Friday, October 22.

The perpetrators also forcibly seized the victim's cellphone and immediately fled the location. The victim was rushed to Hermina Hospital, but his life could not be saved and died.

Taufan, a security officer at the Hermina Kemayoran Hospital, confirmed that there was a stabbing victim. The victim is known to have been taken to the Hermina Kemayoran Hospital.

"The victim's info got stabbed in the left hand. That's all I know because I just had my assignment this morning," he said at the Hermina Hospital.

Taufan said the victim had received treatment at the Emergency Room (IGD) for 15 minutes.

"After being declared dead, the victim was then taken to the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) to undergo an autopsy by the police," he said.
