Adam Driver Who Likes To 'Pull Out' From Interview Sessions
JAKARTA - Adam Driver's success in starring in Marriage Story has made him a much-talked-about actor lately. In addition, this Netflix release immediately became a nominee for the 2020 Golden Globes. It did not stop there, he was again busy with promotions for his latest film, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
It's just that there was an unpleasant incident during his latest interview session with Radio NPR for the Fresh Air program. Adam surprisingly decided to leave the ongoing interview session.
This happened after 20 seconds of the scene in the Marriage Story film was played. In the scene that plays, Driver sings the song Being Alive from the musical Company.
Reporting from The Daily Beast, a source said the radio team realized that Adam chose not to listen to the recording of himself and immediately left the room. The news was immediately confirmed by Fresh Air program executive director Danny Miller.
“He (Driver) left when we played a clip from the film in the middle of the break. We don't understand why He left, "Danny wrote in his short message.
Adam Driver last interviewed NPR Radio for Fresh Air in 2015. At that time, he also shared his refusal to watch scenes that exist himself.
It has been four years and Driver's popularity has sped up again, making them invite Driver again to talk about Marriage Story. On the other hand, Adam Driver had reportedly felt sick at the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and hid in the greenroom during the BlacKkklansmen screening. This news was written by Michael Schulman in the New Yorker Profile.
Not many may know this, but Adam Driver quite often conveys a feeling of not wanting to listen to or watch his own performances.
"I don't want to listen to the bad acting that happens during the clip," he replied at the time. Driver has seen the clip before but he hates it.
In recent months, Adam Driver has consistently filled film projects starting with being an investigator in The Report, a father in Marriage Story and just starting his promotion as Kylo Ren in the last Star Wars film, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
