Thanks To The Soap Opera Bond Of Love, Amanda Manopo Wins The Asian Star Prize At The 2021 Seoul International Drama Awards

JAKARTA - Amanda Manopo's acting ability in the soap opera Ikatan Cinta is not only recognized by fans in Indonesia. As the most favorite drama in Indonesia today, Amanda Manopo also received attention from the 2021 Seoul International Drama Awards. Amanda Manopo won the Asian Star Award.

The Seoul International Drama Awards is an annual award event held to appreciate drama series production in the world. The Seoul International Awards 2021 will be held at the MBC Public Hall, Thursday, October 21.

Presenting virtually, the 21-year-old actress said she was honored to receive an award among the talented nominees. Besides Amanda, three other Asian stars also received the same award. The three are Kentaro Sakaguchi (Japan), PP Krit Amnuaydechkorn (Thailand), and Marcus Chang (Taiwan).

"I want to thank the Seoul International Drama Awards committee. It's an honor to be the person who received the award among other talented nominees," Amanda said when receiving the award which was broadcast through the Seoul International Drama Awards Youtube account, Thursday, October 21.

He also thanked the production team of Ikatan Cinta. "Allow me to express my appreciation to all members of the production of Cinta Bond for their continuous hard work. Also to the partners of all the amazing players, and everyone I wish I could name one by one," he added.

By lifting her trophy, Amanda Manopo dedicates her appreciation to her fans who always support her. "I dedicate this award to my mother who is in heaven, this award is for you mother. I love you," said Amanda Manopo in English.

Amanda Manopo's achievement repeats the success of Tatjana Saphira who won the same award in 2018.
